Honea Path- Sara Alice Burnett Beasley, 79, widow of Davis “Dennis” Beasley, of 69 Brock Circle, died Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at her home.

Born in Greenwood County, she was a daughter of the late Oscar Otto Burnett and Annie Mae Timms Davis. Mrs. Beasley was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and was retired from Monsanto.

Surviving are: one son, Darron Beasley of the home (Crystal Smith) and one daughter, Denise Finley (Barry) of Honea Path: two grandchildren, Amy Parsons (Michael) of Greenwood, Kayla Gregory (Josh Brock) of Anderson: four great-grandchildren, Kaytlin Smith, Landen Parsons, Brantly Gregory and Scarlett Brock, sister in law, Barbara Burnett and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mrs Beasley is preceded in death by one son, Dennis Wayne Beasley; two brothers Oscar Otto Burnett Jr. and William Lindsey Burnett, one great grandson, Conner Michael Parsons, and a sister-in-law, Shirley Ann Burnett.

Her family included the residents of Brock Circle, her Monsanto friends, Friendship Baptist Church members, the Lou and Perry’s breakfast club, and her caretakers, Sam Alewine and Pat Dyar

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday November 17, 2018 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Crocker officiating. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories.

The family is at the home and will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday November 16, 2018 at Pruitt Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Care of South Carolina. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com
