Thomas “Tommy” Edward Burdette, 57, of 234 Highway 178, Donalds, died Saturday, May 5, 2018.
Born in Anderson, he was the son of JoAnn Brock Burdette and the late Calvin Eskew Burdette. He was employed by Ascend, member of the Lakelands Chapter of the Warlocks Motorcycle Club, and loved playing guitar in his spare time.
Surviving are his children, Nathan Burdette and Ethan Burdette, both of Greenwood; sisters, Joan Magness (Garvice) of Honea Path and Joy Chapman (Travis) of Anderson; girlfriend, Bobbie Jean “BJ” Ferry of Greenwood; and nephews, Bryson Burdette of Ware Shoals and Jadon Chapman of Anderson.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Reynolds and Rev. Jay Pruitt officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories in Belton.
Pallbearers will be Lonnie D. Holloway, Brian Moore, Rob Bearden, Shane Simmons, Chris Gordon, and Freddy Ghrigsby.
Honorary escort will be members of Lakelands Chapter of the Warlocks.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
