Thomas Ray "Tommy" Johnson

September 20, 1942 ~ January 24, 2018 (age 75)

Thomas Ray “Tommy” Johnson, 75, husband of Brenda Diane Irby Johnson of 212 Cherokee Rd. Williamston died Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at his residence.

Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late Thomas Aaron and Ruth Bawkum Johnson. He was a member of West Pelzer Baptist Church and a US Air Force Veteran.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are: son, Thomas Michael Johnson and wife Hope of Williamston; daughter, Deborah Lynn Pepper and husband Chris of Leander, TX; sister, Ann Fields and husband Ira of Belton; grandchildren, Shawn Tyler Garrett, Aaron Christian Pepper and wife Rebekah, Thomas Cole Johnson and wife Kelsey, and Addilyn Hope English.

Service will be held 3pm Saturday at Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Zachery Shaw, Rev. Don Simpler officiating  and Aaron Pepper speaking. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories.

The family will receive friends prior to the service Saturday from 1pm until 2:45pm at Cox Funeral Home.

Flowers are optional or memorials may be made to West Pelzer Baptist Church.

The family will be at the residence.

Cox Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
