Honea Path – Thomas Charlie Fleming, 73, husband of Nancy Jane Sharpe Fleming, of Wildwood Drive, died Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at his home.

Born in Anderson County, he was the son of the late Luther Curtis and Effie Mae Burroughs Fleming. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a member of The Men’s Club. He was an 11 year veteran of the SC Army National Guard. Thomas retired from Monsanto after 40 years of service. After retirement, he worked at The Maples as a Maintenance Supervisor for 14 years.

Surviving in addition to his loving wife of 52 years of the home are: his son, Craig (Jenifer) Fleming of Honea Path; his daughter, Lisa (Russ) Howell of Honea Path; his sister, Nancy (Doug) Cannon of Honea Path; a granddaughter, Danielle (Candace) Allen; a step-granddaughter, Courtney (Drew) Knight; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, June 15, 2018 at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Gayle Summey, Rev. Rickey Knight, and The Hon. Mark Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories.

The family is at the home and will receive friends from 5:30-7:30 P.M. Thursday evening at Pruitt Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Trinity UMC, 101 S.
