Sharon Elizabeth Cox

Honea Path – Sharon Elisabeth Cox, 69, widow of Marvin Eugene Cox, Sr., formerly of Oak Drive, died Tuesday, January 1, 2018 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born in Easley, she was a daughter of the late Floyd Sr. and Edna Reeves Cox. She was a member of Honea Path First Baptist Church and the Ladies of Hope Sunday School Class. Mrs. Cox was retired from Anderson Oconee Behavioral Health Services. She was twice married, first to the late Mike Lee.

Surviving are: her brothers, Floyd (Bonnie) Cox, Jr. of Easley and Jimmy (Susan) Cox of Belton and two special nephews, Jay Cox and Andrew Cox. She was predeceased by a sister, Doris Clayborn.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday at Honea Path First Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Moody officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories.

The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends from 1-2 P.M. Saturday at the church prior to the service.
