Mary Evelyn (Lollis) Traynham

Raleigh – Evelyn Lollis Traynham, 93, widow of Wayne Shuman Traynham, formerly of Honea Path, SC, died Thursday, November 1, 2018 at The Oaks at Mayview in Raleigh, NC.

Born in Honea Path, SC, she was a daughter of the late John and Maude Davis Lollis. She was a member of Honea Path First Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Surviving are: her son, Jerry (Barbara) Traynham of Raleigh, NC, her daughter, Jane Traynham (Mike) of Baltimore, MD, two grandchildren, Matthew (Pam) Traynham and Madison Traynham, both of Raleigh, NC, and five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Traynham is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers, Guy Lollis, Raymond “Cracker” Lollis, Carlyle Lollis, and Herbert Lollis, her sister, Anna Bell Lollis, and a granddaughter, Shannon Traynham.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wendall Bannister officiating. Private burial will follow in Garden of Memories.
