Juanita (Knight) Parham

Honea Path – Juanita Knight Parham, 88, widow of Jewell Luther “J.L.” Parham, formerly of Honea Path, died Monday, October 22, 2018 at NHC – Anderson.

Born in Honea Path, she was a daughter of the late William Bryant “Newt” and Myrtie Fisher Knight. She was a member of Chiquola Baptist Church and retired from Belton Industries.

Surviving are: two nieces; Rosemary (Tim) Davenport of Honea Path and Tammy (Chris) Hanna of Anderson, a nephew; Kenneth (Sandra) Knight of Anderson, two great-nieces; Emily Davenport and Katelin Hanna, and four great-nephews; Ryan Davenport, Adam Davenport, Chase Hanna, and Michael (Lauren) Knight.

Mrs. Parham is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother, Malcolm Knight, and her sister, Lettie Brock.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to The Maples and to NHC – Anderson for the love and care shown to Mrs. Parham.

Funeral services will be held at 4 P.M. Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Powell and Rev. Donnie Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories.

The family is at the home of Tammy and Chris Hanna and will receive friends from 3-4 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Chiquola Baptist Church, 405 E.
