Frances Dunlap Gambrell, 88, widow of Ralph M. Gambrell formerly of Simpson Rd. Honea Path, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 at NHC of Clinton, SC.
Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late William Jesse and Ada Ferguson Dunlap. She was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church of Belton with the Bible Believers Sunday School Class and Fellowship Friends. She graduated from Williamston High School in 1946 and she retired with 40 years of services with Oxford Industries of Belton.
Surviving are: son, Dennis Gambrell and wife Rita of Honea Path; sister; Annie Pearl Williams of Greenwood; grandson, Bradley Gambrell and wife Amanda; great grandsons, Barrett and Blake Gambrell; several nephew and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, William Ray, J.W., and Dee Dunlap and sisters, Martha Smith and Ruth Perry.
Service will be held 2pm Tuesday at Cedar Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1pm until 1:45pm at the church.
