Catherine Grant

Catherine Grant, 90, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Bertha Grant. Catherine was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Temple.

She is survived by her son: Alkitt Gentry (Barbara); daughter-in-law: Pat Gentry; grandchildren: Kimberly, Timothy, Leah. Avery, Tony and Chad, as well as numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her children: Roger Gentry and Donna Jordan and brothers: Leroy, Gerald, and Randolph Grant.

A sincere appreciation to Deborah Hanley for her friendship and care to Catherine while in good and declining health.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 28, 2018 from 6pm to 8pm at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel.

The funeral service will be held at Gethsemane Baptist Temple on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 1pm with Pastor Sam Duncan officiating. A private internment will be held at Garden of Memories.
