Jordan Montez Starks, 20, of 2248 Hamby Rd., died Friday, March 23, 2018 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born in Anderson County, he was the son of Michael Starks, Sr. and Amanda Kristine Hill. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his parents are: daughter, Aubrey Starks; brother, Michael Starks, Jr. of Honea Path; grandfathers, Norman Ashley of the home and James Nelson of Clinton; uncles, Maurice Starks of AK, Marcus Nelson of Union and Malcolm Nelson of AK; aunt, Mary Wooten of AK; fiancé, Makayla Skinner.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Verena Mattison and Ricky Hill.

Service will be held 3pm Friday at Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Archie Sharpe and Rev. Jason Lawton officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories.

The family will receive friends prior to the service Friday from 12:45pm until 2:45pm at the funeral home.

Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Faith Home in Greenwood.

The family will be at the residence.
